Haha, nice. Now do a screenshot of a pond up in the hills drowning the surrounding landscape in water.

That's actually kind of awesome, haha

The water in the pond does look really nice though, oh please combined OBGE genius make it through these troubled times without having to spend a year replacing shaders though that would be kind of cool in the long run...

All beautiful shots darkstone. I really like the effects on all of your shots. Do you use ENB Series, Screen Effects, OR both?

darkstone, don't suppose you could throw an archive of the screens you put in the scenic threads somewhere where I could download them for use in ALS...?
I know I'd like to have them as loading screens, and I'm confident that the many users of ALS would appreciate them too.

I saw some shots in the other screenshot thread that definitely belonged here; it wouldn't hurt to bump this thread once in a while after it falls off the first couple pages. I should probably be doing something with the screenshots I have waiting in the purgatory preceding uploading to Picasa / sending to Vacuity. Those poor, lonely screenshots. :teehee:

Here's a little screen bump, the last of my shots that have been sitting around for a while. This time with a nighttime theme!

I'm so uncompromising when it comes to getting the best visual quality, my game running at lower than average framerates; sometimes I wonder if I do it for the screenshots, hehe.

Just some more tests of the amazing new OBGE Liquid Water. So, these are probably not my best shots ever, but I feel that it's worthwhile trying to get the best I can out of this mod (a couple of these have my character in them, but hardly visible, if at all - hope that's OK) ...

Very nice. I'm currently on my own mission to get nice shots of the water. It's pretty much impossible not to have a screenshot look nice if the new water's in it, it's so good, haha. And re-enabling Alive Waters just makes it even better. So great.

For anyone who hasn't checked out http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1178261-obge-liquid-water/ yet (the water mod to end all water mods), I took some nice scenic screenshots that feature it prominently (also linked in the water thread)

http://i51.tinypic.com/2606i42.jpg|http://i52.tinypic.com/2jezips.jpg|http://i54.tinypic.com/scwdie.jpg|http://i52.tinypic.com/wugx0m.jpg|http://i56.tinypic.com/k53okp.jpg|http://i55.tinypic.com/10f9g8i.jpg|http://i53.tinypic.com/wcidu8.jpg|http://i54.tinypic.com/28u4lqg.jpg|http://i54.tinypic.com/2yyyqma.jpg|http://i53.tinypic.com/v4qdrl.jpg|

It has so many layers of features to it and it's all completely customizable. For example with what you can see in the screenshots, I've made the water slightly more transparent, less reflective, and darker than the default settings. It's seriously way above and beyond all other water mods. If you haven't checked it out yet, your life is significantly less meaningful than it could be! :teehee:

Good idea (posting some more of these, I mean). :) What's not to love about water that's actually, you know, water-like!

S'more then:

Some are with an earlier version of Liquid Water, I think. Er, can't remember which though...

My screenshots have slightly different but probably not noticeable waters in them because I was adjusting settings to find what I liked the most, but really I think it's been impossible to make the water look anything but incredible since shortly after release. It's also got the magical power to increase the beauty of a scene just by being there. You don't need to frame a shot well or compose a nice variety of colors, just take a screenshot near water and you've got an instant masterpiece screenshot! Okay, maybe I'm going overboard, but I want to go back and redo old screenshots I took featuring the vanilla water now that they can look so much better. https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/_77B7B8HgEWM/TT1PpcdG-bI/AAAAAAAAAWA/7NaeEc5rxK8/%231424%23%20Bravil%20on%20the%20Bay.jpg!!

These are all great shots! I'm really liking your water fog and transparency settings Palidoo. Probably the best I've seen.
Kind of cool how you kept all the shots in the same vicinity. Feels like I was there with you while you explored. Where will you take us next?
