I went to nipton before getting the quests at mojave outpost to go and see what was going on there, i went up to the main hall and the legion man tried to speak to me but it just went straight back out of speak mode and he walked off.

I later went to mojave outpost and stumbles accross a quest that requires me to find out whats going on in nipton but i cant do this becuase the legion guys have already scarpered from the place they are meant to be.

Can i fix this?

I didn't think you actually needed to talk to anyone to complete that objective.

Yeah, you don't. Just go to the front of the town hall, and the quest should update.

Problem is, you will not get related guest from Legion. Not that important one so I guess you can live with it.

i go in front of the town hall and nothing happends, even searched the town hall and looted everything i got.

Think im just gunna have live with the fact that this quest isnt gunna get completed.

Have you been in the Nipton store and spoken to the surviving Powder Ganger? I'm not sure, but that might update the quest.

There are a couple of quests that get initiated there in Nipton.

You could try bringing Vulpes Inculta to you or you going to him by using the console command "moveto" if you are playing on a PC. There's a good chance that the dialog is now active for him since the quest is active.

Sounds like a bug. You can reload to before you talked to him and try again otherwise the quest is ruined. You need to speak to him about what they did there in order to initiate it. You didn't miss much though, 250 xp isn't much.

Word. Thats what I was thinking. Not sure, but I know he at least talks about what happened and will add another quest too.
