Forgive me if I come off ignorant on this subject. But this is why we ask questions right?

Why hasn't this guy passed on yet? I mean, he's spent a long time killing people and getting even. So why hasn't he found peace yet?

I mean he's cool and everything but man, this guy can carry a grudge and thats for sure, lol.

If you are wondering why he is still in the game let me ask you this.

What would the fans do if they suddenly removed him?

That wasn't until UMK3 that they started spelling it like that.

Is he the one that yells "Finish Him!"?

A major drop in MK sales?

That's the all powerful Shao Kahn.

But as for Scorpion, I don't think he is able to ever find peace for the slaughter of his entire clan and family. He just really hates the Lin Kuei. That, and Sub Zero's brother also wants revenge for Scorpion's revenge of murdering Sub Zero.

Probably, and they can't have that, can they?

Also, maybe the slaughter is what he lives for.

A while back I read he developed a grudge towards Shang Tsung, Quan Chi and Shou Khan.

I mean, this seemed to totally change his character from the very first game ever made as it was only directed towards Sub-Zero for the longest time.

Even if you do beat Scorpion and you're a target, you can't kill what is already dead, so he'd just come back until he does manage to kill you.

It does seem like he's failed multiple times to kill the main villains though story wise because I used to only hear Liu Kang being the Goku of that series and always winning up until they broke that tradition in Deadly Alliance when Shang Tsung actually managed to kill him.

- Scorpion is undead. He can't really be killed.
- This is MK... No one really ever dies because they can all be resurrected in some way, even if it's just because Ed Boon says so.
- He's a staple character of the franchise.
- He'll never rest until Sub Zero is dead... Sub Zero will never die because all of the above applies to him too.

And lets face it Scorpion and Sub Zero are the two coolest guys in the series.
