Scrap or Sell or Store?

So who is just scrapping every thing they can as soon as they get it, weapon and armor both?

Who selling everything the can for scraps as soon as they can?

Who, like me, is just dumping everything in the workbench to figure it out later?

Dumping almost everything. I'm holding on to a couple of low weight/high value items like the gold bars but everything else goes into the workbench.

invest in the scavenger perk both ranks then scrap all guns & armor for components needed for making better guns & armor pre-war money is pretty valuable to vendors & usually ends up in my workshop inventory its considered scrap by the game

Dumping / store junk obviously, selling most weapons and armor or give armor to settlers. Saving lasers and bigger guns until 2nd rank of scrapper. 1st rank just gives steel and screw usually. Didn't used to take prewar money now I find it a good source of cloth for beds in far off settlements.

I have a special container in my house to hold at least one weapon of each type if I'm not currently using that type. It also holds any unique items I find.

I have a container next to both my weapon and armour benches to hold the appropriate type of gear. I use this stored basic gear to outfit all my settlers unless I run out of a particular material which I can then get from breaking stored gear down.
