For a while now I have had this odd bug. Whilst playing my screen can just go black for around 1 to 5 seconds and then continue on as normal, whilst the screen i black though the game and the sound are still functioning as normal. These black screens can happen every 30 seconds or sometimes not at all it seems to be very random when they occur. They do however only seem to appear at night in game as I am yet to have this happen during daytime. It can also rarely happen in caves.

What I found to be the solution to this is an amd crossfire related DLL file missing in the Skyrim root folder. I use an Nvidia card, but alas the DLL was needed to prevent the black screen, sound still going issue I had. Verify the cache to make sure the file is there. I forget the exact name of the dll, and since I'm replying from my tablet I won't be too much of help at the moment.
