so all of a sudden my screen is very bright and blurred on the edges. i loaded up an old saved game file and it is normal in that file. have no idea whats going on, please help.

i have exact the same problem my screen is damn bright kind a greenish, and no i dont have the lamp on. Also my screen is blurry its unplayable pls bethesda make an update

Sure it might be that but then again my only save that isnt blurry is my lvl 1 save and i refuse to start over as im lvl 23 atm. Also why i our screens so bright ?!?

i mean its bad when both mgsv and the witcher 3 has better grapichs and details and yet i can play on high on these games, but in fallout 4 i can barely play on medium yet its not the best grapichs. Bethesda you gotta do something about this its unacceptable. Although fallout 4 is an amazing game but it needs an emergancy update.

You're probably stuck in night vision mode from a NV scope or a Recon scope.
Enter the Console via the Tilde key (~)
rimod 00094636 OR rimod 002041B6
The first one removed the Nightvision and allowes it to work normally when sighting down the NV scope. I am unsure which code will work for the Recon scope.

I had the same issue where screen was bright with blurred edges on PC. Game was bugged and stuck in a view that the recon scope shows.
Fixed with console command rimod 002041B6
It looks like there is a bug just like it for night vision too. I couldn't test this one though. Just going by info on a gamfaqs forum post
Console command for that is rimod 00094636.
