Screens of an Orq and a Khajiit

Post » Tue May 03, 2011 6:58 am

OMG I love the dragonborn's stance here. And the skin!

the draugr have quite a few different faces, maybe they're randomized. i can see 3 different ones in just this one screen.

Also, you can see the beginnings of a beard growing on the Orc's chin

I dunno man,I wouldnt brush it off as quick as you did.Im thinkin that we will be able to do the same based on that.

Well, they could be in, but... the statue doesn't indicate too much. I mean, in Oblivion there were statues with armors that weren't in the game... I'd like to have cloaks, anyway.

BTW, if you look at it... I think that that orc actually looks like a corrupted, cursed elf: the pointy ears, the high cheekbones...

Maybe they have a system where humanoid creatures have the same face system as NPCs?

I don't know why but I looked at http://image.jeuxvideo.com/images/pc/t/h/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-pc-1303119651-030.jpg and the Draugr just to the left of Dovahkiin, looks a lot like a zombified version of the Techno Viking.. Also talking about Draugrs, they look amazing still, although we may have seen these Draugr before they certainly have a lot of Variation.. Which I like..

is it just me or does this landscape look 100000000000000 times better than oblivion, it looks really realistic.

If that arc and Khajiit were made with the character creator, then maybe finally we'll be able to create a character as unique as the world itself.

The addition of scars and tattaoos allows your characters look to tell a story as well.

That khajiit is just... great. And the orc rocks!

Yes, now you can hold a one-handed sword with two hands to make more damage.

this also shows you that you can BLOCK with one handed weapons as long as the other hand is free ( or has a shield

I get what your saying. It definetly does not confirm cloaks over armor, but I do think it would be silly that there is this statue of a guy wearing a cloak over his armor like he was the only person to think to do that in Skyrim or something.

it could also be the starting/ending stance of a power attack with a one-handed sword

This is how TESIV should have looked. I think I deserve a refund and/or a free copy of Skyrim.

In 2006? I think you're asking a lot.

i'm liking that we can see the mane of the khajiit as well, between the ears and above the "circlet?" and a bit on the side of the cheeks, a darker brown than the rest of the fur.

LMAO! Nice catch, the techno Viking has made it into the game eventually, even at the cost of plastic surgery :lmao:

These races look amazing. Orcs look so cool I might make an orc character for the first time in TES for me. Khajiit's look fierce, too.

The lighting on and around the statue behind the khajiit looks great as well. Look phenomenal, Bethesda, keep it up!
