Don't know if anyone has suggested this already... But could that be a Guard walking along with the Dog?

That armor set seems to have a "uniform" style to it in my opinion, and given the dog companion... I'm thinking... Small town guard with "guard-dog"?

I'm thinking that's an imperial guard. Roman style helmet skirt ect ect looks like a mix inbetween the morrowind style and oblivion. I like.

Ok, first of all, HOLY CRAP! The Orsimer and Khaiit look unbelievable! My first character is definitely gonna be one of those two! Unless, of course, the other races screens look... even better?!?

Anyways, that Khajiit doesn't look... normal. It could just be the armour, but it seems as though he is one of the larger, fighter type Khajiit (I don't know my Khajiit lore well enough to say which by heart.). This would be incredible, but what's more incredible, is that it leads me to believe that you can chose what type of Khajiit you can be, because they can't just make Khajiit fighters, they'd lose their primary stealth race. So the races, seriously, just blew my mind. Completely.

Moving on. The one city screenshot has 2 major points I'd like to make. #1 realistic aging effects! The older lady to the right looks like she's actually older, not just wrinkled with greenish skin. :P #2 This is the one flaw I've found with TES V so far, his arm is going into his armour! In Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim they've had this problem. I want solid objects, to actually be solid when I get close to them. i.e. When I stand in front of a wall, my arms don't look like they're half inside the wall.

Oh, and the landscapes look incredible, but we already knew that. :D

Doesn't really look fat, looks like the standard Nord.

You're right he's not fat...that's just his beer gut.

Very excellent screens by the way Beth. Looking forward to this game...A LOT!!!

As for what I've noticed (don't know if it's been mentioned yet) but in the screen of the dirt path with the wolves to the left in that little field...I can't tell if I see a possbile cave entrance, what do you guys think? It's like directly to the right of the wolves.

The Khajit's portrait just looks so much fiercer in this game. Normally I shy away from beast races, but I think I'll give the Khajit a go this time

Am I the only one who finds the Old Lady in the second screen really creepy. She looks like a witch I would hear about in horror stories when I was a child.

I'd also like to point out a comment from the bit-tech article- http://www.bit-tech.net/gaming/2011/04/18/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-preview/1
"Screenshots don't do the game justice; they don't convey the motion and lighting that makes this cold world seem so vibrant, and they also suggest it's just a game about bashing monsters."

I really hope he's right, because so far, I find the lighting pretty underwhelming. The scenes in the gameplay trailer were too short to give a solid impression.

I bet she's related in a quest where she kidnaps and cooks up children!

Well thats enough off topicness.

Im seriously worried about how much time Ill being mesmerized by everything.

Excellent write up. I love the environment in the Orc pic.

Yeah me too mate :)
Also the PC is holding a one-handed weapon with two hands (looks like he's blocking ) or in a blocking stance.
Are the orc and khajiit screens from xbox?

Yea they are 360 screens.

To me, the textures look alot better in the orc and khajiit screenshot's compared to some others, that's impressive to me,for console screen's. I can't believe how the orc and khajiit's look now,and the lighting effects in that khajiit screen are exellent....and i saw LANTERNS AND CANDLES :celebration:

So...uh... Bethesda, mind telling us why this dragon is hovering in the air? His claws are like a foot away from the rock he is perched on.

I REALLY hope I'm seeing this wrong or that this was just a very unfortunate screenshot.

I'm liking some of these armour styles, looks like we'll have more options in weapons and armour. I'm a fan of the human races, because i like to play myself in these games, but those beast pic's have turned that on it's head, they do look awesome. Can't wait to see argonians and elves. We may see them as the week progresses.

Nord Armor, because it looks similar to the draugr's armor.
