i just got a new graphics card, ATI radeon HD 5570, and after trying to take screenshots for a while, i've found i just could not. i checked both of the ini files, and both have screenshots enabled...help?

If you are using any ingame Anti Aliasing, screenshots won't work.

If this is the case - get the free version of http://fraps.com/ - if you want to take the screenies with AA enabled or turn of AA.
