Thanks for the comments everyone, glad you enjoyed it.

@Midgetalien: Hmm, let's see here...

What robes are you using there for the priests?
Robes and the angel outfit from Westly's Alakazar's Lamp.
Side Note: Dark Knight/Blackguard armor re-textured from Obsidian Armor. Added the red-glow to the sword myself.

Where is that?
No where in particular. Just using a cut-down version of FlyTSI's Cathedral mesh that Vality made years back when he was working on his Cyrodiil project. He only had it up on his forums. Have very little patience to decorate though, the cathedral ended up quite bare.

What race mod is that angel?
...Breton :P A head from Westly and hair from Ren. Those wings came from that Angelus mod on Wiwiland, Quite surprised she turned out so well.

How did you get the death positions?
Made them in 3dsMax, NPC's fall in random directions when they're killed/have health set to 0 plus their shadows disappear so that's why I did the poses; to place them where I want and to keep their shadows.

Hey Ghostnull, have you thought about releasing some of the poses? They would make for wonderful resources :) Up to you of course.

For a second I did a double take; it looked like Oblivion.
Great shots and I never cared much for the way dead people lie in Morrowind, so these alook awesome

Well they're not very useful outside of setting up a scene for taking screenshots. Since the NPC's are still "alive" and these are just poses, they would require a bit of setup and scripting to make them viable corpses. Too much trouble I think just to be able to place "dead" NPC's where a modder wants in mod.

Still if someone wanted them, I'd be willing to put them up on my 4Shared account (except the slumped-over-the-bench one, that's a very specific pose).

I second that notion. I would kill to have those
(even if it is just for screenshots)

Its refreshing to see something moving like that in Morrowind, it takes the focus off the death and magic. And shows that mundane and wonderful things are still happening... wow I sound totally lost in this game, *sigh*

Nice shots GhostNull. You've got quite a talent with your poses!

Ghostnull are you using a MGE shader or did you retouch those? the difused look is magniifcent, almost like a properly implemented bloom

My computer would scream in agony as it's melting from spontaneously combusting if I tried to use MGE shaders :P

Just retouching in Photoshop.

EDIT: A little experiment, based on this screenshot. Parchment texture by Sinnedaria.

Whoa! Can you post how you got that effect? Or a link to the filters? I need something like that for my Dwemer construct schematics.

Haha, sure. http://img697.imageshack.us/img697/3700/nerevarink.jpg, for those who missed it before I took it down :P

Disclaimer: I can't promise that this makes perfect sense, as I'm writing it at 1:00 AM :snoring:

I started by taking the http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/6199/morrowind20100529162525.png and using the Cartoon tool (Filters>Artistic>Cartoon) in GIMP 2.0, with the mask radius set to about 15, and the percent black set to about 0.6 (I don't know that this step matters, I'm simply repeating my process) to get http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/6037/nerevarwallpaper1.png I adjusted the brightness/contrast sliders to -127 and 35 respectively, then blacked out any other pieces that I didn't want in the shot (torches, dead ordinators, Vivec's pathetic little library up there ;) ) so that it looked like http://img85.imageshack.us/img85/9277/1step3.png Then I used the wand tool to select all the black in the shot, and used the Select>Invert tool so that I had the pieces that I wanted "inkified" selected. Then it was a simple matter of coloring it black and http://img697.imageshack.us/img697/3700/nerevarink.jpg the parchment texture of my choosing (in this case found http://sinnedaria.deviantart.com/art/Parchment-Paper-Texture-65987007).

Hope that helps! :D

All of http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=444351&id=8378, except for the ashlands one because it doesn't blend in well with the texture replacer I'm using. It's very nice because it has different types of grass for different regions.

Great Guar shot - it brought back oind memories of finding a site dedicated to those who love Guar called the Gratuitous Guar - sadly now gone from the internet - still good to see someone keeping the Guar love alive in such a beautiful shot - worthy of Tamriel Geographic :)
