I just installed Vurt's textures for SWG'S Skies... here's the first clear night I had since then:

I'm seriously in love with those stars.

I like the whole blue atmosphere. Could you post your weather color sections (sky/fog/ambient night color) of your Morrowind.ini maybe?

I just used what Vurt suggested in the readme for the skies - and used the bluer alternate stars texture.

lol. i might if that gets kept ( i like making scenes and landscapes and towns and all that for ages) but before i make a thread for this i'd like to start up on the interiors and the basics of npc's and thier clothing.)
then i might make when for when i start the quest's and artifacts and all the hidden little secrets

Just lately i have been working on an update for the Bloodmoon Landscape Overhaul and following the recent release of Yurts Solstheim tree replacer i decided to give that a test drive and see what that looked like when when used in conjunction with the land overhaul, here are a few screenies i took along the way.

They look alien enough.

PS. Your work is shifting to vibrant style from the naturalistic style.

PPS. Interesting comparing there, I don't know if you knew it, but both words(Yurt, Yoghurt) are Turkish originated. ;)

Speaking of gloss maps, I discovered something cool about them - they can be in color! Any part of the gloss map that is colored will impart that color on the environment map when it crosses that area of the model. For the Netches, I think this could be used to great effect; you could use it to make their air sac organ things not only shiny but fully iridescent, like an oil slick or a peacock feather.

yeah the netch has 2 colors, blue and yellow, looks nice i think.

Made http://piclair.com/data/dvvgk.jpg for solstheim. Did this one without glossmaps, its just a NiTextureEffect (i used Fog Map as the texture type, it's the most reflective of the bunch, for some reason).

http://piclair.com/data/rmwdv.jpg also works great with glossmaps.

I think the gloss maps might have the same "glow in the dark" issue as the "reflection" map route. Just thought I might mention that. Some things might not look so nice at night.

The ice doesnt glow. It's possible to make gloss maps that doesnt glow too, i've tried my best doing gloss maps that really glows (it's what i want :) ) but sometimes they've been much too dark in the night.
