Based on my experiences from Baldur's Gate 2 and Icewind Dale, I think the correct way of dealing with a Drow is not to go easy on it, but to hurl it into Red Mountain and walk away, knowing that you just saved yourself - and a many other people - lots of trouble in the future.
LoL i agree, in those games that is the best thing to do 9 out 10 times.
