Screenshot thread No. 126

I did, even more pronounced than this. :)

Remind me not to phrase my sentence as if I actually know what I am talking about in the future. I did a Google search on "Marble statue" and I couldn't find any statues with visible veins, thus my "highly educated" statement.

That being said, it's a replacer that uses marble which is unrealistic by itself taking into account that there is no marble or a workshop for treating it on Vvanderfell :P So who cares, it looks awesome!

Orcs are such skillfull craftsmen that a lack of proper materials and tools couldn't possibly stop them, obviously.

Marble (Limestone technically) often has veins, yes. :)

Pure white marble is rare but easiest to sculpt with. White marble also gives statues a waxy life-like look to them.
The veins are usually layers of minerals/sediment caught in the limestone.

Well after all, I'm 99% sure that the texture on that statue came from a real shot photo of existing marble so that's enough evidence.

And funky screen indeed, Xeth-Ban. How you got your sky so pink-ish?

The mesh is vanilla ;) The textures are a personal modification based on the http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=7537 This one had a way to reddish tint for my taste so i did a version inspired by the style of the Oblivion statues additionally adding more overall detail (cracks and bumps) and completely redoing some blurrier parts in a higher resolution (e.g. the cape and the axe). Dunno if i'm allowed to release this for it's mainly lucien's/Jiub's work. If there's more interest in this i'll ask for permission.

Just found out that the BC looks much better if I combine Vurt's trees with vality's addon. Makes it much denser.

Havn't actually taken any screenshots of the new character, so far. Fun story, though - she died about 12 seconds after taking one of these screenshots...equipping a normal weapon cancels transformation (I was swapping to an enchanted item and forgot about that) and she was high up in the air as a cliff racer.

If seriously check this:

Phijama's harlequin (sword)
Hedgehog-12's gladiators resourse (armored hand)
Hedgehog-12's better imperial armor (boots\greaves\gauntlets) old version
Mandamus crimson wire (skull collar)
Kalikut black robe (leather scarf or something and a satchel)
Lok Kain (leather belts and gold medal)
Korana's falconer leather (quiver)
better clothes (kilt)
Westly's new orc replacer and Quarl's greusome faces (severed head on his belt)
