I rather liked his goatee. He looks too juvenile IMHO. But the face and crown combination are great!

Why does it feel as if this Helseth would try to, I don't know, corrupt the Crystal of Light with his Dark Influence instead of trying to assassinate you now? :ninja:

Seriously though, while it does look good, I agree with Melchior's criticism about him looking a bit too juvenile.

Yes, bring back the goatee! And if you can give him back his ponytail that'd be good too... but only if you can keep the front of the hair looking like that.

The hair was the only thing that I changed, the face was just out of Vvardenfell Visages. However, I did find a texture in Westly's Master Head Pack that I thought worked beautifully, http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/3391/morrowind20101203020517.png If so, I'll try to obtain necessary permissions and get this thing packaged up for release :) It was originally just something from my own game that I was showing off, but if y'all are interested...

Looks good, tho I personally also like the 1st one as well. It is not odd for a king to be young anyways.
This does make him look older and more convincing to be a king.

Much better. I still think he looks a bit too young, but his "Helsetheness" is definitely there.

True, but Helseth is 51 years old during the events of Morrowind.

Barenziah certainly did. Anyway, Helseth looks like he is at least in his late thirties in vanilla, while Saint_Jiub's second version of him looks more mid-late-twenty-ish. Could blame it on court life and whatnot though, so it's not really a major issue.

What about using that head texture on the other mesh? Might work, he does actually look younger now. And yes, I would certainly be interested in a new Helseth. But if I'm too picky, just release him as is. It'll force me to make some updates for my own game, lol.

By the way, Is Helseth's head unique or are there other NPCs who use it as well?

An unintended but interesting side effect of NoM's blackout effect and the sunshaft shader.
