Two images become 4 when you cross your eyes. When you overlap 2 of them, they will gain focus in the middle and create the 3D illusion. So you don't need glasses.

We have to wait for Crysis 2 and then we will know how they are doing it with %1.5 performance hit.(they will publish how they did it eventually.) I think I saw one shader like this on crysis mod forums. Don't know if it is working though. I can make my own glasses and try it. I just need a red pen.

PS. Nvidia has anaglyph 3D support. If you have those glasses you can try any game right away with an nvidia GFX.
