Just wondering if anyone knows why many of the character screenshots for instance on the Elder Scrolls Official site have one white eye?

Just a cosmetic choice you can make? Or perhaps some speculation into a story driven cause?

It just seems weird to me how many of the pics have it.

It's because the eye is dead or blind or the pigment in the eye is gone a what not.

Having a blind eye is just a cosmetic choice. I think you can even have two blind eyes... which is kind've silly. They should really black out the screen for first-person players in such an instance.

It's a cosmetic thing. Make your character look more rough, I guess.

Can't live in Skyrim without getting your eye poked apparently.
