I have a friend at work who is a professional body sign reader and when I showed him them denying to comment on the werewolves he said "He's hiding a truth" (hinting that there will be werewolves) but chances are they are waiting to announce it.

We'll see, I guess...

Exactly, I would bet that they just want it to be a surprise, I think it's likely they are in, after all, they specifically chose that question (about transformations) out of hundreds for the fan QnA only to say "We don't want to discuss that yet

I do do my research, kthx. I was merely referencing the more recent explosion of the new trend. But as I said, let's hope the Skyrim vamps are at least somewhat scarier. :\

I don't get why people want so bad that Vampires/WereCreatures be in the game. :unsure:

I never played many games of this genre, but it's true that TES has the best system with this "theme"? This would explain all the attention that it gets by those creatures' fans.

the forums with werewolf vs vampire, werewolf is better then vampire ! NO, vampire is bttr ! reminding me of twilight team edward vs team jacob.

(im team edward btw lol ) ! who knows maybe their will be a shirtless guy that can transform into a werewolf o.o lol!

but instead of werewolf i would prefer werebear or lycan just so it would associate too much with twilight.... since ppl are bashing it :*( ~!

(i like twilight btw...... and all the recent vampire movies/novels)

One word: Twilight. Ever since that scene came out, Vampires have been becoming less and less of an object of fear, and more of a sixual/love appeal. Same with werewolves.

I can only hope the vamps in Skyrim have at least some scare appeal to them. A vampire in a dark cave rushing you with fangs extended and a demonic hiss/growl sound would suit me much better. As for being a vampire, I hope there's more than there was in OB.

I think that's a bit uncalled for. I dislike Twilight as much as the next person but there's no need to be mean, the mods will probably warn you for it if they're watching anyway.

Vampires were very uninteresting in Oblivion, the minuses pretty much beat the pluses of being one. I would rather be a werewolf, but vampires could definitely be cool if they had clans and quest lines to those clans like in Morrowind.

Haha. True. In Oblivion, they were nothing but fodder and baddies to kill. And you also had the exception of being one and controlling it. Lore-wise, these baddies were politics and smooth-talking deceitful manipulators, not cave dwelling monsters.

On topic as its been said many times if werewolfs/wereotherthings (were chickens?) were 100% out we would of been told as direct as we where with other features not included like with spears.

We still might have the Volikhar (spellfail). Think about it: weren't the falmer confirmed? If they put them in, then it makes since they're following at least more lore than they did in Oblivion. Of course, we can't be falmer, but they're still there. My guess is Volikhar will be in Skyrim, but we can't be them. And it may just be wishful thinking, but the weres should be in there too.
Of course if not... then... :cry:
