As long as my werewolves glitter in the sun, I'll be happy. Otherwise it'd be cool to be a vampire-snowman. Even if they use similar mechanics, I'd wonder what any particular changes would be. Would feeding still be necessary, or can you just kill people outright and have that count. That would probably ruin the hour-to-hour buffs though.... Huhm.

EX: "I know you do not want to talk about if werewolves are in the game or not, however is this answerable. Yes or no, during the development of the game did you at any time work on any assets for werewolves aka: possible story lines, graphic content, gameplay design etc. Whether or not they are in did you make any attempt to make any content for this feature?"

haha, sorry to nitpick, but that's like asking "I know you didn't steal the cookie from the cookie jar, so let's change subject. Did I put in enough chocolate chips?"

I am getting the Xbox version first, then when my wallet recovers from that hit I will probably get GOTY edition of skyrim off of steam. If werewolves are not in by then you have got a blender artist looking to help :tops:

I think I have had just about enough forum lurking for the day, have fun with speculation! I will be back tomorrow!

Ahhhh stop the vampire hate!

I personally would rather not play a vampire unless they had their own quests but even if they did not have their own quest leave them in there so we have the option!

Sorry i just get a little paranoid that a high ranking Bethesda employee will read this and think "hmm maybe we will leave vampires out next game". Nonono :verymad:
Gimme vampires and werewolves, each with their own quests if able. The more alternate ways to play the better.

Thats it, I'm making a vampire and werewolf slayer character for Skyrim. Every time I kill a vampire or werewolf I'll take a picture and upload it here with a story. So if you guys like Steve Erwin and Van Helsing , you'll be in for a treat.

werewolves are cool but the real reason to put them in the base game is so that modders can bend them to their will.......add new stories with werewolves and other things like that.......*sigh* you can even mod in a werewolf v vampire scenario........The story telling opportunities are numerous.....as long as some crucial base elements are not looked over in Skyrim...modders can really pick up the slack and expand on it.......creating a werewolf from scratch, though I love the sentiment, never quite clicks and is always kinda awkward to look at

I have a vision. There is a gang of goblins attacking me... I morph into a werewolf and rip them to pieces.

Why stop at generic vamps and werewolves.
I can only speak for myself but the millions of vampire and werewolf movies have kind of ruined the allure for me personally.
Get original.

inb4 sum1 says they want b a weremudcrab

but on a serious note, im with you 100% op. to me vampirism was meh... be a wrinkly, pasty, infected scourge who has to make out with a neck every night to get by? nty

being a werewolf could be awesome...

But I seriously hope its not actually a "Wolf" you should just become an archetyped beast of your race. Bestial with fangs, claws and all that, But i cant wrap my head around a lizard becoming a wolf... or a cat becoming a wolf...

I just wanna be a "werebeast"

I'd like to see werewolves as well! But I won't be disappointed if it's not in vanilla Skyrim...as long as they include them in a DLC.

I'm not OK with it! I hate how much content is only offered on LIVE! I don't have LIVE, and I don't really want it...I think everything that can be downloaded should be buyable on a disk aswell. Why do the cut themselves off from an entire group of people who would gladly pay for bonus content, were it only offered as DLC disk. Stupid!

Wereshark?

nah, just something that isnt specifically lycan. but bestial and race appropriate.

like if i were an argonian and contracted "werebeast" id get huge when the moon came up, claws teeth fangs etc. Bloodlust, the whole nine yards. But no fur.... just a Gnarly lookin Lizard beast...

Or if i were a kajhiit i wouldnt become a canid based beast, but a specifically feline "werebeast"

I would way prefer werewolves vampires are just boring and not very entertaining to play as, where as werewolves you can tear [censored]s apart like a boss

I couldn't help laughing at the end. "So you can...be a vampire and live the life in Skyrim...and kill dragons...as a vampire..." Seemed kind of anti-climactic for a "big reveal" haha.

Same here, I hate vampires they are so boring, they only suit horror games like nosferatu: the wrath of malachi

They were also quite good in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. In my opinion at least.
