I think they are likely to be in. During the reign of Oblivion BGS was constantly asked for the inclusion of werewolves in the next game. If there are vampires which no one cared much for, why not werewolves?

Unless there are technical limitations I dont see why not

I'd like to see werewolves as well! But I won't be disappointed if it's not in vanilla Skyrim...as long as they include them in a DLC.

Why stop at generic vamps and werewolves.
I can only speak for myself but the millions of vampire and werewolf movies have kind of ruined the allure for me personally.

Not much else you can put in besides werewolves or vamps that fit the lore. And all the WW and Vamp movies were in the last 4 years, doesn't ruin my taster for it.

Bethesda has already done it better than many of those movies, and the ability to be a werewolf is very rare in a video game.

One word: Twilight. Ever since that scene came out, Vampires have been becoming less and less of an object of fear, and more of a sixual/love appeal. Same with werewolves.

I can only hope the vamps in Skyrim have at least some scare appeal to them. A vampire in a dark cave rushing you with fangs extended and a demonic hiss/growl sound would suit me much better. As for being a vampire, I hope there's more than there was in OB.

Geez! How can so many hate this news so many people have been hoping for so much?!? The fact that we can be a vampire doesn't mean we won't be able to be a werewolf, I personally think the multiple level vamprism is great! I wonder if there will be any clans you can join.

I have a friend at work who is a professional body sign reader and when I showed him them denying to comment on the werewolves he said "He's hiding a truth" (hinting that there will be werewolves) but chances are they are waiting to announce it.

dlc where you reborn the existence of lycanothropy in skyrim by bringing it back from a foreign land and npc's can infect other npc's until all the npc's are lycans unless you rebanish lycanothropy from the land of skyrim
