Script-lock a door so a key will unlock it

Post » Fri Aug 01, 2014 4:41 am

Title says it all. I can close and lock a door with papyrus, but doing so seems to clear any key associated with the door. Not does there seem to be a way to specify one in papyrus.

I'm currently side stepping the problem by using two doors, one reverse enable patented on the other. But I'm going to need to disable both of then together, so I need another approach

Any ideas?

How about just enable/disabling them separately in script instead of setting one as the enable parent of the other? That way both can be in either state independent of one another.

http://www.creationkit.com/GetKey_-_ObjectReference won't return a key for the new script lock? That you can put where is needed replacing the one that was cleared if I understood correctly.
