Scripting (or even console): Changing Player's WNAM

Post » Sun Feb 16, 2014 8:05 pm

I'm having a major compatibility issue with two of my mods that isn't fixed easily, and there's really not any good alternative. One of the RCRN developers told me that in order to make RCRN and Unique Character function together, Unique Character has to implement its changings via sideloading and fake-questing. (I have no idea what this means.)

RCRN, in order to function properly, needs the Player entry completely unedited. Unique Character is a mod that gives the character a different body from everyone else by attaching a piece of invisible equipment that has a new body mesh to the Player via the WNAM record.

I'm hoping someone can help me out here because I've already poured many hours into trying to fix this problem before learning what I have to do and man oh man did I ever swim to the deep end.

If this is possible to due via console commands I'd like to hear it, it'll save me a lot of work, but otherwise I need some guidance into making this work.
