Just want to know if the 4 levels of scrounger perk affect ammo types. By that i mean if you take the first perk does it give only certain ammos or all the ammo's (affected by the perk). Reason i'm asking is because i took the level 2 of scrounger for 44. magnum ammo. I'm playing a gunsliger and i don' want to wait to level 24 to get the ammo. Also the vendors don't seem to have any. Or is it maybe affected by level? Thx in advance

From my experience no it doesn't. The only vendors who sell it are Kleo and Eleanor. Just go to them every two days

Since I got the 4th rank in it I've been finding a LOT of .50 ammo. Like every container has a few rounds. Course this could also be due to my higher level (50+). Not sure but it wouldn't surprise me if that changes some of what you find also.

Sadly, while I do find other ammo types, I don't recall 44 being very common.

It might be coincidence but I noticed I tend to find more ammo for whatever gun I have equipped and am using regularly.

From the wiki: This perk only affects the following ammunition types: .308, .38, .44, .45, 5.56mm, 5mm, Fusion cores, and .50 caliber.

Wiki also mentions that it adds a ton of .50 Caliber ammo, so neat. One more thing: The fourth rank doesn't add even more ammo in containers like it says it does. With the fourth rank of Scrounger, you have a 5% chance of receiving a full magazine of ammo for your equipped weapon any time you reload an empty gun.

I think i heard for the last rank from fudgemuppet on YT. The thing is i get a lot of 308,50,5.56... as soon as i take the first rank. The thing is i'm level 10 and have the second perk of scrounger and didn't find a single 44. bullet.
