Hi Saebel, Perfect timing! I'm about to start my Nehrim run through. Will I still need Haldar's Realistic Sneak for NPCs or does this replace it ? Beebee

v2.0 replaces it. Haldar and Reneer gave me permission to incorporate the concept. The calculations and scripts are totally different, but the result is the same. You can see a screenshot of it in action in WalkerInShadows' recent post.

Hi this mod sounds awesome and I'm about to try it out. Just wondering about something though. You mention in the read me that when using AVUncapper, you don't need to use its 'example' esp, just the OBSE plugin. As I understand, that example esp uncaps all supported AV's. So does your mod also uncap all supported AV's, or only the sneak related ones? If only the sneak ones, then maybe I should keep the example esp to uncap all the other AV's, and then load your esp later so that the sneaky bits in your mod overirde?

Quite right.
It only uses three of the features:
- uncaps the 100 limit on Sneak skill's effectiveness on detection
- forces blindness effects to have diminishing returns so it never hits 100
- forces chameleon effects to have diminishing returns so it never hits 100

All three can be turned on/off in the ini. The latter two can have the scale changed in the ini.

If you want to uncap everything else, load up the AV Uncapper.esp before SDR's .esp. If you use BOSS, it will do it for you by default.

Happy Sneaking!

It might also be worth noting that you dont need AVUncapper_CS.dll (for the Construction Set) either if you dont intend making mods. I had a few crashes initially because I didn't realise that the CS dll was incompatible with my setup. Since running (with just AVUncapper.dll installed) no problems at all. Its probably mentioned somewhere but I cant seem to find it.

The Readme mentions "NOTE: using AVUncapper with the wrong version of Oblivion will, *at best*, cause it to crash." which I remembered, so presumed the same applies to the CS dll. No problems otherwise since :)

Edit: For the record - Not using the AVUncapper demo esp either, just the necessary dll for SDR. Love the way this makes T.I.E NPC's fade in and out of invisibility.

Good to know. I'll update the documentation when I get a chance.
