Sea Eagle = Seagle

Post » Thu Sep 02, 2010 1:07 am

Get it? seagull! haha brink you clever

Edit: For slow people - Sea eagle is desert eagle, shortening the name desert eagle is called Deagle, so Sea eagle is Seagle (The bird Seagull)

or the fact that sea-gle has both "sea" and "eagle" in it and so fits better as a short name.

Also, you need to mention the fact that this weapon is better than most assault rifles.

Also, "Deagle" or "D Eagle" are common abbreviations of Desert Eagle, so the shortening to "Seagle" would be well-expected.

Awesome catch on the "Seagull" reference though. I hadn't seen that yet. Have an :icecream:

Only with the right aim. I can really only get the first shot off before they panic and run around, trying to save the remaning half of thier health.

Mossington is a cross between Mossberg and Remington, two of the foremost firearm makers in the world.

The Ritchie is a joke on the movie Revolver directed by Guy Ritchie. Hjammerdeim = Hammer time. Rokksted i= Rock steady. Caesar revolver = Rex revolver.(Both in latin mean emperor and king). Belgo is a joke on another gun which is made in Belgium I think. EZ-NADE = Easy nade. Lobster = Lob grenades. FRKN = FN FAL. FN is Effen' Fal is fail and I presume FRKN is frikkin'. Hockler = Hector and Koch. Do I win a prize?

Close, but no prize.

"Hjammerdeim = Hammer time" - incorrect Named for the The Pancor Corporation Jackhammer, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pancor_Jackhammer

"FRKN = FN FAL" incorrect Gun in game is modeled off the French FAMAS assault rifle, not the FN. Someone on Brink wikia has suggested that the name FRKN-3k might mean "Freakin heck."

In this case, May I make the point of the name reference's of which I was aiming for, and the Hjammerdiem is also a reference to Hammertime. Like a double edged sword if you will.
Also it has been speculated the Tokmak is a joke on tomahawk. Although due to the nature of the name this is unclear. Although 'Tokarev and the Makarov pistols' (Taken from the wikia) or 'The Italian Tomahawk". in naming for the Beretta 92 series. In which ever case I applaud TrenchKnife in his detailed work.

Saying the gun isn't the FN is like saying a car isn't a Honda - It's a [Honda] Accord.

FN is the manufacturer. The FAMAS is the FN FAMAS.

you fail, and you fail hard. fabrique nationale de herstal, or FN is a belgian manufacturer. the famas, a french rifle, which the FRKN obviously resembles, is a french rifle, made by the french company manufacture d'armes de saint-étienne, or MAS.
right. its not hard to find that stuff on the interwebs, really^^

Your gonna have to excuse me for that where I come from (N.I) You can actually get alot of different gun names, I've heard of colts being called cun'ts. FAMAS was called a FUMUS. This is beside the point I f***ed up there. all the Maximus there is three avenues here, The Maxim Machinegun, The M249 SAW or the closer gun The FN Minimi.
