Looking at the sea in the distance from near Winterhold it looks just awful. Any good mods to fix the textures?

It is impossible to fix that unfortunately. I have discussed it with the USLEEP team and they are well aware of the issue but don't have the ability to fix it. I cannot remember the technical explanation and most of it went over my head anyway, but the upshot is it is just something we will have to live with, at least until some genius like Meh321 figures a way to fix it, since it is an engine bug, not a problem with the distant LOD meshes per se.

Oh, that's sad. Maybe some mod that makes that area hazy so it's blurred in the distance and you can't see it very well? Or permanently snowing or something.

That would probably work. I use CoT and I can only notice it on sunny days. im not aware of any mod that does that though.

The various distant sea glitches have bugged me for years, one of my few hopes for the remaster is that they fix it up.
