I was impressed of these gorgeous shadows
but the AI textures are great stuff too.

I dunno, looks like the http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=2915 to me, perhaps with some other random ones tossed in too. I'm sure if I am wrong someone will correct me.

Looks like the Visual Pack, but those fort textures are either vanilla or from the "Mixed" texture pack which I can't find but wouldn't recommend.

It's not the visual pack.

The stones in the 1st pic are different and more detailed than the VP ones.
And I've nerver seen the cobblestone_01 texture before
(I'm not sure if the name is right- it's the ground texture in the 2nd pic) .

Exactly what is this mod? It's MCP beta, or an addon to it? I give the description on TESnexus a thumbs down..

edit: ok, it's some beta addon/test for MCP, must try :)

It's both as far as I can tell. It's supposed to be super secret, I think the MCP guys are only letting certain people use it until they've got things ironed out. "Super secret" as in "impossible to install without a special utility" as far as I can tell. It requires the current MCP version, the download at TES Nexus is apparently a supplement that jacks itself into the current MCP.exe but I have no idea how to add it (presumably there is a supa secret utility the beta testers are using).

But I don't really know anything.

The textures in the second picture are from http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=5044. You'll need to install the Visual Packs first and then this to get the same look as in the screenshots.

The "special utlity" is MCP ;) you get the new options once you've installed this over the old.

edit: it works but FPS went down to like 1. The shadows from rocks and buildings looks ok, the tree shadows are just wrong.

If you're talking about the "Plasma Containment" module, that is a beta from last year which introduced some shadowing capabilities natively in Morrowind -- and unfortunately, due to the way Morrowind handled its shadows, this was slow and unstable.

The super-duper new pictures, as mentioned in the MCP thread, are apparently the result of a customized MGE version he's been tinkering with. Shadowing is just one of those things that feel so... lacking, in Morrowind. Those screenshots address the problem rather well I'd say!
