Searching for mods

Post » Wed Dec 08, 2010 6:27 pm

Hey everyone! I'm looking for any quest mods that could possible compare to the almighty The Cube Experimental (And if you have yet to play The Cube Experiment, then download it http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6270). I've played Puce Moose's quest mod, very great but (not to offend Puce Moose!) not something to compare to The Cube Experimental. Any advice on good quest mods? Anything in development? I posted at the SureAI forums and the chances are slim that they will have more fallout mods coming anytime soon, they're currently preoccupied with the English translation of their Oblivion mod (Nehrim).

To you SudoX and anyone else interested in the same kind of thing, the mod in my signature is in development (planned to be released before NV) and will be much like Cube. Just with a much longer intro. But the second half of the mod will pretty be the same idea where you are stuck in a place and must do puzzles and crazy stuff to get through it. But I have many unique twists. I agree you really should download and play Cube before you do ANYTHING else. It is THE best quest mod for Fallout 3. Ever.

Gunmaster: I hope you make a more creative ntroduction to your mod or at least put some sort of delay in it. Cube Experimental is amazing but the beginning is rather sloppy, with a 'find the hidden CUBE facility' popping up as a quest the moment you install it, which for me was the very moment I was born. :P

Oh of course. So far my mod adds about 35-70 minutes of gameplay BEFORE you ever even enter the fort and do all the crazy Cube style puzzles. Only the second half of the mod is puzzles, and its not really the focus of the mod, but should still be great. :)
