As long as you see the Season Pass in your list of purchases, you should be okay.
I'm on PC, so it's obviously different for me on Steam, but I don't have the Season Pass listed with my games or anything like that. At this point the Season Pass is basically just a receipt acknowledging that you've paid for it. Once the DLC actually comes out, you'll have content to manage.
is the season pass for all dlc or just this year? Its nice when its for all dlc but this will obviously also limit the dlc we will get in the future...and i dont think we will see a lot after 2017...
on the other hand this means beth is already making a hard cut moving on to work on TES 6 Hammerfell
For most games it includes all content during a games lifetime. There could be things like pre-order bonuses being made purchasable that may not be included in the Season Pass such as Rise Of The Tomb Raider & Just Cause 3 as examples. Batman Arkham Knight did in fact include all the pre-order bonuses, plus all the other content released during it's lifetime, however unless they plan a Season Pass 2 I expect them to be done with Batman Arkham Knight minus the possibility of a patch or two. Games like Mortal Kombat X and Evolve they have 2 Season Passes each, Mortal Kombat's second Season Pass doesn't release until the day their newly announced XL edition on March 8th. It's possible if Bethesda wants Fallout 4 to continue after the Season Pass content is done they could do a second one, but that may be unlikely as they will probably want to start an Elder Scrolls or this new studio that was recently announced might start a new IP, only time will tell.
If you go into the Xbox Store itself, on your Xbox One and do a search for the Fallout 4 Season Pass, the area marked where you purchase at being a price tag should be marked as "Manage" if it is, when a new DLC is releases you may need to click on that menu option, then the DLC itself to start the install. Witcher 3 had an issue for me where you couldn't install the DLC through the "Manage Games & Apps" menu you had to go into the store click "Manage" under the pass itself and it showed the DLC and allowed me to install it. Odd, but it worked.
I used to play on PC through Steam and really miss it, but really can't afford a new PC to run anything, at least Steam's system is freaking simple and easy to use. I really do miss it sometimes.
On Steam if you go to your game library, then Fallout 4. There is a DLC link on the right hand side, if you click that it takes you to the season pass and shows "in library".
Is there anything similar on the Xbox store?
