I'm so frustrated right now. I'm on the main quest called "season unending" where you have to negotiate a truce with the stormcloaks and imperials at the greybeards place. The npcs gather at the counsel table and then ask me to take a seat to start the meeting but when I sit in the marked seat nothing happens. They just stand there doing nothing... Did I really just play all these hours for absolutely nothing? What a let down... if this doesn't get fixed in the next week i'm returning this game and calling it crap.. 60 dollars I shouldn't have to deal with this bull. Come on, there has to be a way to fix this. I've tried reloading a bunch of times, leaving the room, changing my gear. wtf?

Well.. I decided to reload a 5 hour old save file and go through all those quests again.. and now I finally got the counsel started. But I swear, if it glitches again i'm ninja starring my controller through the wall..

Has any one else found a fix for this besides reloading a 5 hour save?

I had this problem and clearing my xbox cache fixed it for me.

i just bypassed this completely by not calling a truce and doing the missions for the stormcloaks until the imperials were wiped out from skyrim, then the quest updated and i didnt have to hold the talk, i just went to paatharnax and continued the mission. ^^
