I personally subscribe to the theory that Nirn isn't in the center of the universe and what everything revolves around, that Nirn orbits Magnus with an axial tilt resulting in seasons, and the more accepted belief in a Nirnocentric universe is a result of the common mortal delusion that they're the center of everything, but that's just me.
All the Dwemeri and Imperial Orreries show a Nirniocentric universe. Considering the Sunbird Explorers and Mananauts who have BEEN outside of Nirn, and so would know how to build an Orrery right. I know that Haskil says that
Ah, the elves. That most self-centered of mortal races. It is inconceivable that anything could occur that has nothing at all to do with them. Do you really think that Oblivion exists solely as a shadow of Mundus? That everything that happens here is connected in some way with your pitifully limited world? I can tell you, speaking only for myself, of course, that sometimes entire minutes pass without me thinking of mortal affairs.
I like to point out the words "Entire Minutes", implying that he can't go more than a few minutes without thinking of Mortal affairs.
