Hi it's me again. I am just curious, will some of you guys be playing the game once and getting an understand of it and then make your favorite character?

My 10th character will be my favorite
So far my 1st character was a tester but this time with no class I might play him all the way into the main quest, unless I screw up the perks and the build too much.

How will I know which character I make will be my favourite? After making my first character, that one will be my favourite, but then when I make my next one, I might change my mind.

No idea which questlines I'll like best, whether Skyrim will be more welcoming as a Nord, more interesting as an outsider etc etc

I answered that my second will be my favorite character based on what I've played since Morrowind and Oblivion, but I won't really know if my first character is my favorite until I try him. I'll go with a Nord Barbarian with a warhammer at first to get into the story but my second will be the Altmer Spellsword I normally try at least once.

I will make a no holes barred character and get stuck in everywhere, he will be known as "Adventurer". Then once I know the world, guilds, quests and other factors I will then make my main character or "favourite" and try and sculpt him as best as I can.

I will probably make a dummy save right at the "Sewer exit" for my "Favourite" so that he will look act and play like "Adventurer" except be driven by an experienced mind instead of a Skyrim virgin who will try and take down every dragon they come across.

I would love to say my first is my first but experience has told me the first is the worst and most chaotic, I will probably end up running past an awesome weapon only to find out from guides later on and then gradually day by day I will begin to loath "Adventurer", his is a sad fate but a necessary one.

To be fair it can't be as bad as my first Oblivion play through. I had never played an RPG like TES before and when I exited the dungeon I was like WTF!? Am I lost? Where do I go? I followed the main quest until l got roggered in Oblivion.... play through two wasn't much better.

The latest, Play through 20

Level 52, maxed stats in everything, best weapons, every spell, all Daedric shrine items, Lord Sheogorath.

I don't play favorites. All my characters are equally beloved, except for crappy ones who don't live past level 10 or so. But with new classless system I doubt that will be the case. :foodndrink:

Not first, yes the second.

My first character is generally a testbed and gets abolished after a few levels. No sense investing time and energy into a character when I don't konw how the rules, leveling, combat, etc. really works. Once I figure things out, then I'll make a real character

I don't have favorite characters. I design characters for different skill sets and play styles. I often have builds that I don't like, but I have yet to find myself falling in love with a character I use.

Some times I will have different versions of the same character that has different weapons, has done different quests, and has very different magical equipment. often these differences make a great difference in the look and feel of my characters yet they are basically identical.

yeah because all the discovery will be new.

my fave ctr in FNV was my first, I never touched the main quest with that one.. just did odd jobs for the NCR and some roleplaying.
