It's not about seeing new information (which the compass was new and nice information), it's about us being able to see the nice smooth gameplay and see that gorgeous snow in motion and the fire spell in a better contrasted background than we have before where we can see the flames roll from the hand better. Plus, we get to see the actual real game (and not a trailer) in motion and it looks great. Mainly, I'm just wondering if Metacafe was given an okay to record the demo and release that small amount of footage or if they are going to get a horrific beating from Bethesda.
If G4, Gamespot, and GTTV weren't allowed to record actual footage from the demo, I think the answer is clear. Whoever was recording probably pulled out their phone for a couple of seconds just to try and get the "scoop of new info" no one else had.
The game is definitely an improvement over Oblivion. But I'm more interested in seeing the footage we see at E3, as that will be more relevant and likely a newer build of the game..
