Though I'm guessing this particular website isn't going to be invited to any more press events :spotted owl:

LOL, that's exactly what I was thinking. I bet when Todd sees this he's going to be thinking to himself "alright who was the bastard that was there not in the shot..."

How..can you even say that? This is the first real glimpse of Skyrim that we've seen. The REAL thing. Not a trailer.
How can you expect people to not get excited about that..?
Why are you even here if you're not excited about Skyrim?

i'm looking forward to the game myself but are you implying the forum should only be for people looking forward to the game.

the trailer includes better viewed higher quality first person gameplay. Are you saying that wasn't real.

You Also assume someone isn't looking forward to the game because they were'nt overly excited over 3.5 seconds of a blurry person walking.

...the trailer had real gameplay footage too. It also wasn't 2 seconds long. Just sayin'. Only thing worth noting in this is environmental effects

You spelled "[censored]" wrong.

And that's your opinion, I think it looks great.
So what's the point of that post?

I'm just imagining the Bethesda office looking like the NY Stock Market when stocks plummet into a free fall after they see this. Everyone just freaking out and yelling at one and another.

"WHO GOT THIS FOOTAGE!!!!!????"

I was too busy posting screencaps to actually comment on the video's content when I was online this morning, so let me add that even this brief shot of [different] gameplay was highly impressive, not least because of the snow and generally awesome dungeon ambience.

It's technically a leak, I suppose -- and I doubt Bethesda are too pleased about it -- but they can take comfort in yet another extremely positive reaction to Skyrim. :)

Why would there be snow falling inside a dungeon?

I'm assuming there's a hole in the ceiling because it looks like it stops as the player approaches the casket.

I'm pretty sure it was mentioned in one or more of the demo articles that snow is actually blown around by the wind, and that there are indeed gaps in the dungeon walls, exterior sections mid-dungeon, etc.

If you didn't notice that chest looking object (which I believe to be a casket) pops open.

Epic liches popping out of caskets confirmed?

Yeah my first thought was a lich :) I was like... is that? something coming out of that tomb thing!?!

This is a really small great piece of footage. And I can understand Bethesda being mad that it got out but on the other hand it's not even 5 seconds it's like 2.5 seconds that just shows a dungeon and a coffin pops open. I can also understand Bethesda being really mad if whatever popped out of the coffin was showed on screen but it wasn't. So basically I don't know how Bethesda can get mad for this.

Talk about a pointless video showing absolutely nothing new.

So basically I don't know how Bethesda can get mad for this.

It has nothing to do with the content. If you broke into a high-security building, for instance, it wouldn't matter if you didn't actually steal anything. Bethesda were probably mostly mad at the security people that weren't strict enough about cellphones and cameras etc, because next time it might not be just 5 seconds, it could be the entire footage.
