Lorenzo Cabot discovered an ancient alien artefact in the Middle-East (think he said Syria or Sumeria or something) that grants him psychic abilities and the rest of the Cabots have been drawing blood from him to use in a serum to keep make them young... for over 400 years. Oh and apparently the ancients created the human race because Lorenzo has been studying them via a psychic link via the ancient artefact, a helmet, that he wears.
This might be the stupidest [censored] I think I've ever encountered and I really don't have a problem with this game for the most part, not in-terms of lore anyway. But this is just ridiculous.
