Secret passages, traps and puzzles

straightforward.

Secret passage would be an incentive for thieves oriented classes as a bonuss for usually low content for them
Secret passage can create new situations and improve exploring.

I definitely want secret passages. They should be difficult to find and not show up on the mini-map (if there is one).
I think there should be a good mix of common and intricate traps. Some should be made to just hinder or harm in a minor way, some should be lethal, and there should some crazy ones like the teleport thing you mentioned.
I love puzzles, so I really hope there are some. There should be a good range of types, like mazes, logic, research, mathematics, science, etc. Some should be really simple, some should be nearly impossible.

We need this for quests for whatever organization is going to replace Mages' Guild. Their quests were way to testosterony and magic is is for smart people who know better than to fix all their issues through sheer force, it's not the Fighters' Guild!! :toughninja:

I wants me some real, indiana jones like traps. I want to instantly hit the ground being pumped full of arrows instead of oh noez, I'm taking gradual damage traps like some of them. The arrow traps in Oblivion were pretty good but as long as you kept heading forward the arrow traps didn't kill you. I think they really did a good job of the whole puzzle/trap thing all together in The Dream World quest in Oblivion. Thus is why I think alot of people don't like Oblivion, too many awesome quests and features that had things you had to do more than just click a button (e.g alot of people hate Oblivion because of the lock pick system and the Speechcraft system because they couldn't get it to work for themselves.)

I only want traps if there is a way to bypass them other than pretending we are playing a platform game for a while. Let security disarm traps and I'm in, I have to hop over them or whatever I'd rather pass on them.
