Apart from me, when was the last time someone gave an example of one team being more fashionable than the other?

Personally I by far prefer the Resistance look.
Skull face paint (which I would bet Sec won't have access to), going shirtless, sweat's pants and wasted's (and psycho's too) sandals...

Only thing I really like about security's looks are the freak's mask (especially in the trailer video!) and the fallout pack t-shirt... :vaultboy:

+Edit : Wow, talk about a lame typo... (Wtf, is there some sort of auto-spellcheck on here or is my browser pissing me off?)

I definitely like the wild and fanatical styles of the resistance, but Security has got all that Kevlar and factory-made gear, which imo makes them look like clean efficient killing machines!

Nah, they just need more armor because they follow the order "Do not shoot unless fired upon first" according to the Container City Walkthrough on youtube.....

'Cause you can win an open ended pole.

Conserve your strength brother, and let the oppressors grow complacent.

When the time is right we will overthrow their tyrannical regime and know equality.

you know ive been thinking this since the beginning and wasnt sure, but reading the posts all over this forum of people really commited to each of their factions, it seems to me that niether side, is really getting what they want and that they are both going to rise up against the founders...wouldnt it be crazy if i predicted the end of the game lolz :hubbahubba:

I see the 2 factions and their ideals as a game of "attack and defend."

The Resistance are the attacking side - they are ones fighting for something - equal rations, leaving the Ark, etc.
The Security are the defenders - they really don't seem to be fighting for anything, and are more just trying to stop the Resistance from achieving their goals.

this seems to be a common contemporary way of thinking for some reason- that obstructionism has no real value other than denial. Obviously they are fighting to achieve a goal, even if it is just to prevent the Resistance from achieving their goals.

I reject that premise, though. It's pretty clear that they're fighting to protect resources, and also some more philosophical ideals, if the "preserve the Founders' vision" objective means anything.

I'm not too keen on The Freak, the coat and boots are pretty cool, but as he is he looks a bit like a Gestapo sixual deviant.

that was a lot closet than i thought it would. i thought people would mainly go for the resistance because they look better, but on the other hand the security looks pretty gangster to. security has a lot better of technology which probably kept them up in the poll.

But anyway i pick resistance because i believe in equal rights to everyone. so i agree with what their fighting for. security could have just gave them rights to prevent the war. but then again, this game would have never existed if it was like that

Yes, it takes great skill and determination to fashion an easily-perforated rubber tire you found on the street into a shoulder pad. Also, it takes real finesse to get just the right amount of sweat stains on a wife-beater.
