I voted security but honestly there even in my opinion. im just glad we get to play both and make characters for both

I was just taking a look at the poll to end all polls from horse's compendium, and right now the vote for resistance vs security is 83 to 82, with resistance being one vote ahead. That vote isn't strictly related to fashion, but it seems like its pretty much 50-50. Pretty interesting if you ask me.

Going to have to go with the security.

Yeah, But what I think will happen is once they beat both campaigns, people will start to choose one. Or at least stay with it for a while.

I like the resistence alot just because of the anger. But remember that you will be making a outfit for both security and resistence when you make your character.

I think they both have their cool looks. The Heavies for both look really cuul along with all the others. The only guys i have a problem with are the skinnies, they just look really slim and starving unless they have like a hoodie but with just a T-shirt they are just to thin.

I honestly don't care about looks in a game as long as the game is good enough to keep me coming back for more.
But editing your character is a good thing also. Gives Variaty to the battlefield. The one thing I am a Big fan of though is editing your Guns to Perfection.
Surprisingly more people have picked security then I thought they would.

Kinda cool seeing this as a topic. My friends and I were talking about it and "assumed" that more people would sway in the direction of resistance. So I automatically chose Security, now that I see the results im surprised. Thinking about it though alot of people that wont bother signing up on the forums will still purchase and play Brink. That large group who dosnt partake in these threads could very well pick resistance. Its hard to tell so early but that was just my and my friends opinions. So as of now my heart lies with Security... :celebration:

I vote Security, I like the clean look of things.

For those of you who are surprised by the results of the poll, remember, theres no CoD kids on this forum. Generally they, in their obnoxiousness, think they're cool cause they're "rebels" and will pick resistance.

Don't the cool kids always chose TF141 over the OpFor?

They also chose SVER over Raven (and Valor).
They think they're 1337 so a good deal will opt for the most rebel looking ones. No prizes for their likely choice.

to be honest I just like the rough/underdog look of the resistance, I had that same type of thought when I bought MAG. Before even buying the game I loved the S.V.E.R team, the characters on that
side just look badass and I immediately made my choice after I saw that team. (if you're curious MAG consists of 3 PMC's which is short for private military corporation, they are Valor / Raven / S.V.E.R , and to
me Raven more resembles the Security because they have that clean look to them which was my 2nd favourite choice.)

I think The Shield archetype looks awesome. I can't wait to rock that on my heavy medic.

Some of the resistance stuff looks cool too, like the tire tread armor, but that bean-bag-and-elastics set-up is just not appealing to me.

It doesn't really matter, I'm going to play as both and I'm sure I'll find something that I really like from each.

seriously tho i like security, brink reminsds me of mag, i never bought it but i was in the closed and open beta and i was Raven, the techy european faction, almost everyone rather had S.E.V.R because they look badass so we were outnumbered, but i felt raven was strong, and valor was just there, a little child getting bullied by the others because everyone was in S.E.V.R . but im surprised that its even in brink, i will be playing both sides but after i finish everything on security and resistance, im going back to security for the most part.

also if you think about it the resistance would outnumber security, theres a ass-load of "guests" that live like the resistance so they will most likley join them, the security is just the police force and a bunch of original residents that joined later when the resistance started, to make the security.

The security is also mostly refugees, paid in water rations.
