Resistance, there is more for what they're fighting for.

Remember that both sides have been told different things, so its gonna be a cool ending, and I am hoping for an epic "Resistance & Security Team Up Battle Time" against a giant griffon, that shoots laser beams out of its fingernails, also it's not flying, its riding a jet ski.

Either way, I'm going to play both faction in the end since both sides have a interesting reason for what they're trying to accomplish.

Don't know, not sure I prefer either and I'm still waiting to see if my friend is getting it, as he's generally more picky about who he fights for.

The Security. I like their looks for sure, but my real reason for joining them was that I agree with them. We let you come into our homes, and just because we put you to work(You though you could just lazy around? You have to earn your stay!) you revolted. I realize that isn't the only reason. Maybe you didn't get as much water, and I respect your protest towards that, but you are oblivious to the fact that we are trying to conserve them so we don't all die within a couple days. At the end of the day, we are the ones just tring to keep the peace and keep everyone alive. The Resistance is just causing chaos and killing.

My reason for choosing the Resistance because theyre the Underdogs, or the refugees who look totally wicked with their hockey masks and leather jackets.
On the other hand, they're quite interesting to see how they act through the story facing the Security. In which the Resistance are at their final point and need to prove their point they need supplies.
But, even if this does sound arrogant, I think the security are quite selfish for not listening to what the Resistance has to say or assist them.
Plus the Resistance have epic masks and pwn all :celebration:

Whoah, coulda swore there used to be more Resistance-lovers. Good to see people are finally realizing those free-loaders hadno place on the Ark to begin with, and should be thankful they aren't sleeping with the fishes...

Polls like this aren't very accurate. One of the polls I saw had much more Resistance than security, and also, look at the amount of votes in total.
I can see it playing out like some of the other games Ive played, with the scale tipped into the Security side a bit. (52% / 48%)

I definitely prefer Security, but I'm kind of lost on which faction to start with. I could go with the save the best for last approach and start with the Resistance, but then I run the risk of becoming attached to the Resistance and spoil the Security. On the other hand, I could start with Security and be super disappointed with Resistance. Not really sure what to do there. :shrug:

I will play both campaigns for sure, just to be an educated player (and the achievements :spotted owl: ), but right now, I feel morally and ethically obligated to pledge my service to the Resistance.

So I'm not surprised to see more people voting for Security in here with the global poll results. I suppose I am mildly surprised by the vast lead the Security has on the Resistance. It makes me curious as to what drives the majority of the Security to have chosen their faction: cool clothes, or philosophy?

And I'm also not concerned about the numerical disparity between the Security and the Resistance anyway; with the awesome Resistance brothers I have found here on the forum, all I have to say about that is, "quality over quantity!"*

If the poll results correctly reflect the multiplayer scene on release, I will have no worries finding bad guys** to shoot :chaos:

If Resistance players turn out to be really good though, better sport for me I guess :biggrin: Another thing that could be going on of course is that Resistance players are voting Security to hide their true numbers...
