I realize this topic has seen more than it's fair share of threads by this point. There's even one on the 1st page of the general discussion forum right now. But with this I hope to get a reference poll so that people can get an idea of the ratio regarding preferred faction choice, and preferably why the given faction was chosen. For me I like both sides a lot, so when my clan of manliness and I had to decide which faction to play as, we ended up flipping a coin Turns out we'll be playing as Security.

So what about all you, how did you choose. And if you don't feel like explaining your choice again, feel free to just put a vote in so people can see which side has an obvious preference (I'm guessing Resistance will have definitively more people).

Resistance, here. Although, as I said in one of the numerous other threads, I'll be playing Security a lot as well, considering what side you're on affects what side of the campaign levels you play. So, for variety and to experience the complete game, I'll be playing both sides.

For both looks and politics, though, I like the resistance. As The Zero said, badass underdogs. And I also share RaaiKKen's stance that the Security seem like bad guys. I know they're not bad guys, and that's left open to interpretation, but I just feel more of a connection to the Resistance. Although I actually like how the Security looks too, just in a different way. Basically, Brink rocks, Resistance rocks, Security rocks, and I'd be happy either side, but am more interested in Resistance.

Security all the way, I really like the armor, and don't want a busted up gun.

Inter-Brink trolling.... lololololol. I'm actually not sure which one I like more tbh. I can definitely feel a better connection to the Resistance, but when I saw the CGI trailer last year, I was immediately attached to "The Bug" dude running around like a ninja... and that sweet face mask is just sick. Can't wait.

I don't think thread closure is something to look out for here. I'm actually surprised at how balanced the favor towards both Factions is.

I'm not surprised at all. Both Factions are epic in their own way.

Love the archetypes they have and the accessories, sunglasses and cowboy hat!

Well, since we are having such a nice conversation and staying on topic, I'm sure it will stay up.
But I prefer Security because of the clothes and the guns not being rusty and worn out.
