Hey guys, I'm back, if only for a little while. Glad to see my Mercenary option is still available. What else can I choose when I both agree and disagree with both sides of this conflict? This isn't a bad guys vs. good guys kind of war. This is a people vs. people kind of war, and as such my loyalty comes and goes with the wind. :disguise:

Or rather, the highest bidder.

You're a man after my own heart. Mercenary through and through (The Rafzakeal of Chrome Hounds).

If offered 2 missions and the same pay and one of them was from either side, i would more likely go with the Security. Although i am slightly affected by morality. If it is something like defend baby incubators (Security) or AIDS vaccine (Resistance) then I'll work with the side defending. Most of the time i will work for the highest bidder.

On a side note, Wraith, which side are you on? Your posts seem to show that you are not Res., but are you a Merc. or Sec.
I would say Merc, but i don't know.

Your welcome we mercs need to work together. Well at least until we are on opposing teams, then may the best man win.

While I now do find the Resistance have a noble cause, we were hired to do a job of keeping the Ark afloat, and I'm going to carry that out until the end.

TBH i dont think they'll let us choose which side we fight for, unless your one of those people that play singleplayer 25 times...........
So if you want to look half decent upgrade both character, even if the resistance is better =D

I'm probably going to be a merc as well, have a light sec. bug and a med. anger with a huge beard =D but if i have to choose, security because they are just defending what they built, and the res. should be greatful, not that they don't have a valid point for fighting, it's just if they were just asking for water (which is what i would do) they probably wouldn't need to fight to get what they want

They asked for jobs, they got jobs. Beggars can't be choosers.

So now they are slaves? I don't know about you, but I think they have a right to fight back what is pretty much slavery.

There will be 2 playable modes at the main menu, resistance campaign and security campaign. Then you choose to either go solo, co-op or multilayer. Regardless of your choice, you are playing the campaign. And yes, you can choose your side. You advance your same in game character regardless. One resistance version and one security version for your character. You can have up to 16 I'm told.

Resistance or mercenary... the security team look's like "the good stupid guy". I think the other two categories are more interesting then this one.

Merc all the way. Both sides have their reasons and I will find out what they are. Then of course conquer the Ark with the rest of the Mercs. :foodndrink:

:celebration: . Ah, what a great day that will be. Once we allow the sides to weaken each other, all the Pro Hitmen and Mercenaries shall "take care of business" :gun:

Im Security ftw. Oh and the Bug is old news now, its all bout the Sloani face mask, it looks more badass. End of.

The Bug would like to disagree.
I'm getting both(Steam FTW) but the Bug wins hands down if I'm also allowed to wear a Beret with it because you can't best that!

Resistance is nice but I like the look of Security more, mainly because of the Bug and Berets

But I'd still go Merc because I want to get the feel of both campaigns

I picked Resistance simply because I'm getting the psycho preorder pack and I want to use that mask., but I'm gonna play both sides because I want to get both sides of the story. I'm just gonna play Resistance first :)

With campaign you can only choose one side or the other and play all the way through. Free mode you can jump in on either side. I don't expect anyone to just play one side, I know I won't be. :foodndrink:

Like the idea of the resistance, but they're idiots and think that blowing up stuff will make them equal.
