Security vs. Resistance 4

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 1:48 pm

Has it been confirmed that Operatives can see landmines? I mean, maybe all classes can see landmines, as long as they look carefully.

I saw it in an interview that operatives would be able to detect the mines, but only engineers can defuse them. Now that's f**king teamwork!

Ah, one more reason for Engineers and Operatives to be rivals. They work well together and at the same time are the other's worst enemy. Win.

e.g. glow sticks, banners and plenty of cake :cake: more like nuclear material or something suspicous.

Well first off, the cake is a lie.

And second of all, Security will dominate the Resistance and remove them from the Ark - by force.

On a side note: I'm glad to see an almost 50/50 balance between both sides, and it's good the Resistance has such a complelling reason to well.. Resist! All in all this should be fun, and I can't wait to see you all in game.

Until the game releases, we are friends! :foodndrink:

My Opinions is that Im sticking to the merc side. I agree that the Ark should preserve its resources and shouldnt just be given out unctrollably and that we should keep the ark and follow the dream of the founder a livable place that can be a new vision of living of humanity. Though I can't help but say the Resistance that the "guests" are being treated wrong and unequal, and that to live they have to resort to the extreme's not for themselves but for eachother, for equality. I guess Ill have to see later on in the future how things will be

I have pretty much decided that after launch they need to make a DLC that will have co-op missions for both Resistance and Security against some unknown 3rd group. Mostly because of the large number of Mercs.

My eyes are telling me to go Security because I love their outfits, but my heart is telling me the Resistance has the more noble goal. =O

I'm conflicted.

This implies that there is no collision within a team (like in TF2), it does not state whether or not you can impede an enemy by standing in his way.
If you can just walk through someone, what would be the purpose of a trying to block the enemy. They could just walk through you, backstab you, and be on their way.

Also, a light can hide behind a heavy. On a charge for cover, a light could use the heavy as a meat shield to get there unharmed (provided the heavy player is willing to cooperate).

*PS I didn't know you were with the Resistance... welcome aboard http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/mm252/mysteryom100/untitled-1.png

I think allies you should be able to walk through but enemies you can't that should solve the problem. But in the long run Use SMART to get around the person blocking the doorway it's that simple using this there are multiple routes you can take to avoid this problem if you can't wlk through them.
