The way I see it, if I play a female character, look down and see my boobs are suddenly missing it would be highly odd. Or excluding the whole torso would still be a bit weird, like you only have legs/feet and arms.

How would that work? Your shoulders just dissapear as they get to the torso? You need to have the camera further forward if you want the body non-visible (in which case, shoulders wouldn't be either). Otherwise, you'd just have legs coming out of nowhere.

Well boobs could be done right, I guess. Now I'm not a big boobed person and I'm not a girl... so I don't really know how it looks like hehe
But it shouldn't be visible, in my opinion, if you look straight forward. It should only be visible when you look down.
But then again I'm a male that play male characters so I wouldn't really care :P

Oh, I don't think anyone really expects them to be visible looking forward. Even realistically, you wouldn't see them until you were looking very tilted down, giving the viewsize on a screen.

Just make first person exactly like Crysis 2.

Problem solved.

Boobs should be visible even if you look straight forward.

I'm sure once the anime boob mods are released, that would be a possibility.

A gazillion times yes. All of what you can see in real life. This is one of the things on my realism wishlist.

As I mentioned in another thread, I think it would be much cooler to be able to see your own reflection in water and mirrors or other reflective surfaces. It would give the 1st person exclusive people (like me) a reason to bother customizing the look of the character. Besides, it would just be cool.

To see my legs while running would be great (but not a big deal if it's not included). And perhaps to see my shoulder while turning my head, idk. But it's really no worries if it's not in, I have a tremendous respect for BGS and I know how it is to work on this. It is a lot to think about and consider, it's not a job for the average person.

I agree, though I do hope they have simplified the creation sliders a lot. I just stopped trying in Oblivion because I never wanted to spend the hour it seemed to take to get something that looked at all right.

Just having a large set of pregenerated faces that you could then tweak would do the trick.

There is already a thread about this.

I would love it,but chicks would hate to see their own cleavage in first person.

You know, that thing they don't see all the time anyway.

And I'm not sure many men would complain either :P

Anyway, it would probably be more down the Halo route - legs are enough. And I'd say it's likely with the Third person improvements.

I'm thinking about the fps hit. When I draw a sword in Morrowind, there's a slight but noticeable hit. So more on the screen might make it worse? I like the idea though.

I don't like the idea of boobs being visible at all. The Elder Scrolls has done a great job of not objectifying women and forcing six down the players throat, but having boobs being visible when you look down on a female character would be kind of ridiculous. I can already imagine the millions of mods that make giant boobs just so the player can look down at them. It's a little much.

????

what

Americans and Europeans are such square pants

"omg I can see bobs behind cloth, GOD FORGIVE ME"

"omg people are naked under all that cloths GOD FORGIVE ME"

honestly I know its "your" opinion and I do respect it it but it does not mean its not silly.

if people freak out about pixel cleavage then the human race is overdue for a well deserved extinction.

I'll just repeat what I've said numerous times during the last weeks: Without full body awareness - that is the term you are looking for, by the way - all this more realistic combat and the less intrusive menus and dialogues will fall kind of flat.

I think we had come to the conclusion that most chicks would not mind. ;)

Mirrors edge idea was really good. Obviously different for Skyrim, but its an idea. It's kind of weird to say, but I would really like to see my tail (Argonian/Khajiit) in 1st person. Not all the time, just at certain times. Like maybe the executions.
Boobs in 1st person = bad idea imo. If they're in, then it will take away from the legs when you look down, right? Or if their small enough to not really take away from the view on the legs, then there's not too much of a point for it. Overall, I know a lot of guys* that would love to see this in, but I doubt Bethesda will do it. And honestly, how many girls are going to aim the screen down and say "Dang, I wish I could see my boobs!"... I doubt many girls will even care.

yah I want to see my body cause I wanna play with it...

OK that came out way too wrong :blush2:

it would add 1000% immersion if your not an invisible floating ball that hits stuff.

Just a note, underneath armor, you won't notice much of a difference. You tend to strap those things down a bit prior to running/jumping/fighting. Pretty uncomfortable otherwise.

3rd person takes away from immersion and shows the whole body.
1st person just shows what you look at. Do you see your lower body the whole day or just when you look down?

Yes, please! This is one of my most wanted features and a MUST for immersion. It's annoys me when people find being a floating camera "not a big deal." One of the most important qualities of TES series is immersion.
