I downloaded http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=OblivionMods.Detail&id=4659 a couple of days ago, because I wanted to be able to change the look of Elven weapons. However, when I downloaded it, I soon discovered that the "Textures" folder it came with was completely empty. There are no prior versions available for download, and Planet Elder Scrolls is the only place that has this particular weapon mod available.

Does anyone know of a different mod that gives Elven weaponry a much darker look, or am I stuck hoping that the creator of this mod (or someone else, for that matter) notices the mistake and uploads a set of textures for it?

There's http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=9503 that makes them black (more like dark gray, but they look nice), but that's all I can find. Have you tried informing the author via PM or a comment? Maybe he'll see it and upload a fixed archive.
