It's not a movie, but the HBO series A Game of Thrones is supposed to be kinda like it, I think.

Not really, I think it's because they take such an advantage of the gaming medium, the stories would be too complex and long for a film, and the individual escapades would be too tedious for a TV show.

Although a B-Grade fantasy flick "Merlin and the Dragons" reminds me of the Markath area, and Conan of course.

It's not a movie, but the HBO series A Game of Thrones is supposed to be kinda like it, I think.

It's a way more brutal and gritty experience though. If you haven't seen it I highly reccomend it

Honestly, I think LoTR is the closest you will get to it. I haven't really heard of a movie that did a kind of swords and magic TES theme well besides that.

As good as the elderscrolls are, the Song of Ice and Fire series (which the Game of Thrones is based on) is much better. Everyone should read those books
