Re-seen characters?

Post » Tue Nov 02, 2010 9:48 am

Are there any characters that have been seen in previous games that are seen in later games, eg, Morrowind or Oblivion? I know that Uriel Septim VII was seen in both Arena and Oblivion. Any more?

Barenziah and her son Helseth reappear from Daggerfall to Morrowind : Tribunal. There is also that khajiit, M'aiq the Liar, that serve as the voice of the developer about what cannot be added ingame. An argonian by the name Big Head was from Morrowind and somehow manage to get to the Shivering Isle.

Then there Mannimarco in Daggerfall and Mannimarco in Oblivion. Personally, the Mannimarco in Oblivion is just a pansy wannabe compare to the former King of Worms in Daggerfall who basically obtain godhood.

Right, the King of Worms. Could there still be a possibility that it is the same person? Although I know he looks more Lich like in Daggerfall.

Lore-wise, Dragon Break happens in Daggerfall, which cause a split of two Mannimarcos (one get the ending of becoming a god and the other.......). So in theory, there could be two of them at the same time. I just not too happy the way they made Mannimarco a pansy generic evil in the Oblivion counterpart.
Either way, I like to think the reason for such pansiness is http://gamall-ida.com/f/files/realmannimarco_190.jpg.

No, one hates rats, one loves them. I believe they are supposed to be sisters.

Wrong, they're sisters (probably). The one in Balmora is Drarayne Thelas, the one in Anvil is Arvena Thelas.

Mehrunes Dagon made two appearances, one in Battlespire and one in Oblivion, along with Sheogorath in Daggerfall (in the Aetherius no less o_O) and Shivering Ilse

I agree with the KoW being a dissapointment... A COMPLETE dissaster even. Its not him. Its just a random power-hungry Altmer who thinks that by calling himself Mannimarco he will get all Necromancers all "Ooooh, shiny"... And he suceeds which completely destroys the coolness of the necromancers which I have gotten from what little I have read from Daggerfall...

Yeah...

Does anyone know a good mod to make him more realistic and more dangerous? More like he should be?

Sonja Snow-Song... or whatever she was called. Dive Rock (not very easy to recognise her though) and the Mead Hall of Thirsk.

Naw, nearly all Daedric Prince get their appearance via Artifact Quest. Its more that the Daedric Prince have to get a bit more screentime in more than one game. : P

It looks good. I was unable to write "sounds" good since the voice-actor didnt give the right feeling unfortuantely (sorry if I hurt any feelings). But I guess that it will have to work.
He looks scary and hopefully he is good enough (I have like only killed Mannimarco once... or was that my brother? Not sure)

EDIT: I sounded ungrateful there about the voice. Sorry. It is a good job, just a slightly more dramatic voicetone may have been better...

Yep, Svenja Snow-Song was in Oblivion, as partially digested remains. Dranas Llethro and Hillod the Outlaw were from Raven Rock(Bloodmoon).

There was some random altmer in a cave in Morrowind who shared a name with a guy in Oblivion... I don't know if they were the same person though, and I can't remember the name right now.

Edit: The name is Volanaro. Morrowind Volanaro was in Dunirai Caverns, I think Oblivion Volanaro was in a mage's guild.

Then so does the rest of you bretheren, silly hunter. In which case, I say your argument is wrong, as the Daggerfall summons do not count at all, only physical in-game appearance, which all (except for Sheo and MD) have only done once or never.

There's a few of these. The guy in the jewellery shop in IC was a random guy in a cave in Morrowind. Just the result of the same name gen.

I think it's an interesting touch that he did not appear to be the arch-typical rotting bony lich which you always think of when you hear the word. (If he is a lich that is). Nothing against them, but they are almost allways the same, so it's cool that he seems more "alive". Although I do think he should have been much stronger.
