i've seen some live stream videos and im concerned.

Post » Wed Sep 08, 2010 7:32 pm

as i said in the topic title. im a bit concerned. all of those videos i've seen 9 our of 10 are using "The Look" face archetype, not like it matters but the rest of the faces look like [censored] ( and so does the look) but i can say that the look sure is the best looking guy. im starting to think the multiplayer cutscenes will be a pain in the ass when all players have the same face :) just sayin'

sigh, i am concerned that this community cares more about playing dress up than they do about team based objectives.

Clearly they were trying to make the models' faces as ugly as possible.

I think that a lot of people will be using masks and the like, and personally i won't be using the Look face.

It's how they want to play their copy of the game they bought.

Shouldn't be concerned at all. What you should be concerned is people hopping off the COD train onto our ARK. And I'm not talking about a fish train either.

People enjoy making epic characters and anyway, no objective threads have popped up around the forum so why don't you start one about it

it's not gonna matter what they look like, cause they're all gonna look the same to me anyways : lying on their back with a bullet in the head, and two in the chest...

^^ Me too, I love character customization in FPS' and Halo: Reach is the only game that has done it for me so far (please don't give a list of games that rival Reach in customization, I dont care)

I do my best when I'm drunk. At least I capitalize my letters and get some sort of grammar structure within my sentences

I'll help you read your comment again. Just for the kicks.

Grammar doesn't unjustify what he's saying. Maybe he's not worrying too much about it cos it's not an English exam.

Or maybe this is the internet (Or the Matrix for all you Mr. Smith fans out there).

So really, I'm just going to let the topic continue and let this pass on. Like a good message board poster would do. Then to gash in some wounds and salt up some cuts.
Cause I'm tied. We're tired (of waiting for Brink). And somewhere out there someone is tired because of a night of pormography.

What I'm trying to get at is, lets not turn this good thread into more facepalms then it already created.

Any who, back on topic.

I personally love Character customization in video games. Overused? Maybe, but it's the one thing video games have to compete. A fun factor to provide for the future of gaming. Yes we still have to team up and compete towards a greater cause for the movement of the story. But for some people that holds some fun as well.

In any case, covering the bases so everyone can have their cake and eat it too.
Speaking of cake, I think I'll have my slice on Tueday.

OP, stop making wild generalizations.

I'm going to go ahead and come right out with it: The Look is my LEAST favorite face Archetype. It's ugly, sure, but it's also just plain boring and featureless. It doesn't have anywhere near as much character as any of the others.
