Lately, I've been making sure that my humans only sleep with other humans and my ghouls only with other ghouls (my units have 2 beds each) and I've been dressing my humans in Road Leathers and my ghouls in Raider Leathers.

I feel like this could be vaguely racist and it makes me feel dirty.

Neither. Won't have anything to do with either of them. Railroad sure, Minutemen sure, but never the Facists or the Extremists.

What I really want is some free synths though so that my settlements are truly integrated.

I need to go to Graygardens and integrate the robots too!

If you think it's wrong it's probably wrong. I have these kinds of conversations all the time. Luckily my friends and colleagues are patient and nonjudgemental, lol!

But I'm impatient and judgmental. That's why I asked! Of course that also explains why I'm loathed by friends and family and feared by the public at large, but that's a different subject completely.

I always recruit all my settlers at either the Castle or Sanctuary Hills then move settlers from there to my other settlements as needed. Ghoul settlers I've sent to the Slog (I figured they would be happy there) and set them up their own ghoul settlement at Jamaica Plains. For kicks I made the Sunshine Tidings co-op an all female settlement.

Edit: Speaking of which, I just realized that Fallout 4 doesn't seem to have a 'sixy sleepware' garment.

You may well have already been infiltrated by synths. Only way to know is kill everyone and see who bleeds green. You can save first so then you'll know. Only problem is shrodingers cat. were they synths before you killed them or did they drop a synth component when they died? I trade gear with most settlers and never noticed anything funny in their inventory.

Except this one odd fellow. he was giving me a quest. I didn't have to find him in the wastes but he wasn't at the settlement he was representing. thats normal, I shuffled people around so people who start one place may have been reassigned. But then I've seen him at other settlements. He has a very distinct cage uniform and a little sailor hat. I call him Popeye.

So anyway, I've done missions for Popeye before except this time he approaches me. I look in his inventory and he's got legendary armor, an automatic laser pistol, a laser rifle, a six crank musket and 45 fusion cells. I dont know who Popeye is but he one bad npc.

I've been trying real hard to convince the settlers that its ok to use soap and well I built those tubs and Water Purifiers for a reason...

But so far it hasn't caught on and they wonder why I roll my eye's when they complain about their dirty fingernails.

If somebody killed me right now I would drop several synth components when I died making me also look suspect, I have them in my bag still from looting others.

I made spectacle into a huge farm with concrete walls and barbed wire (via a mod) and I also sent only settlers with certain kind ethnicity there. The turrets and spot light point inwards the island...

Ghouls aren't even a race, so no, there's no racism involved.

If anything Ghouls are even more segregationist, calling everyone who isn't a Ghoul a "smoothskin." So yeah, I'd make them wear dirty rags and make them sleep on the floor. They kinda deserve it.

When I find that a settlement has recruited a ghoul, I usually take the ghoul out back and shoot it.
