1: wait untill mods comes out that do these things
2: Remove fast travel and place in a travel network that i must pay for.
3: a mod for spell making
4: an Overhaul mod for general difficulty and fixing obvious lvl scaling oops that are going to occur
5: said overhaul mod above making it so i cannot pull weapons ect out in towns more immersion.
6: food, drink, and sleep mod.
7: a mod that replaces the map and adds in a paper map that doesn't show were i am at only major land features so i have to find my own way.
8: removing compass.
9: a realistic weight carry system mod.

Hell until these mods are released i may not even purchase the game.

1. No fast travel except between major towns, and only if I have already walked the distance first.
2. Never have my current quest active if there are map markers. I like to read.
3. Must eat and drink at least twice daily.
4. Remove armor and weapons within town.
5. Never reload if I don't choose the optimum course of action, or an NPC dies that I wanted to survive. (Baurus, RIP.)
6. Absolutely no spellcasting on any character who doesn't have a spell school as a Major skill.

Uhh about #6... there are no more major skills bud.

-No sleep until main quest is done . . . oh, you mean in game. Depends on my mood. I may hardcoe it for a while, and then after a while throw some cheats on and kill everything in sight.

Only fast travel to places on roads.

I don't really need a house rule to keep myself from looking things up online or not reload quests, I generally don't do that anyway (and if I do look something up it's usually because I'm stuck somewhere, possibly with a glitch, and I'm not enjoying the experience and want to move past it, so I won't keep myself from doing that)

No fast travel
No reloads
Wear appropriate clothes within context of the situation
Eat before I sleep and after I wake up with snacks during the day.
Keep companion until he/she/it dies (no sending away and then bringing back whenever)
Other small stuff that I will make up while I play lol.

I don't have any. Not one. Hmph.

Although I've already kind of given myself one rule nice and early on, and that is to finally separate from my (kind of) standard Redguard main. This time I'm opting for a change, most likely a Breton.

On rule I followed in Oblivion was a limited fast travel thing. I could fast travel from city to city, but If I left a city, I couldn't use fast travel again until I got back to a city. It made it so I would go out on expeditions, and have to have everything I needed with me, but I wouldn't have to walk from one end of the map to the other. I like that feeling of being far away from my home base, and having to get by with just what I have with me. It also limited the loot I could carry back. It looks like the fast travel in Skyrim will be similar to Oblivion, so I'll probably use this rule there too. Not uber hardcoe or anything, but It works for me.

This isn't a bad idea. I just tried to not use fast travel in any form (even though I secretly wished for a system like Morrowind) what you said makes more sense. Now if only I thought of that when I used to play Oblivion a lot.

This. A legitimate reason as to why Bethesda should put children in the game.

Well one thing I will be doing is SAVE Save and save some more. Can't forget about rule number one.

I might steal all the plates, forks, spoons and knives. I tried this for Oblivion, but it was boring, since the AI doesn't react to it. I guess the
same thing will happen in Skyrim, so I guess I will not do either. It all depends on how Skyrim is, maybe I will be like the lady in Morrowind
and steal all the pillows. :)

There is for me.

It's not specifically a "Major Skill", but it's what my character does best.
Basically, unless they're an actual "Mage" type class (I know there are no classes, but there still are), or a class that has a magic secondary, no spellcasting.
