Last night I made a small metal cabinet next to my workbench to store purified water. I built it took my water out of the work bench and when I selected my brand new cabinet it had an adjustable wrench and 12 rounds of .308 ammo in it. Has this happened to anyone else or am I going mad?

It's happened to most containers I have. From the top of I my head the cabinets at Covenant and Red Rocket keep spawning loot.

Yes it's happened to me. It will not keep putting stuff in after you add to the container even if you empty it.

Using any mods? (If on PC)

I've had this happen a few times when I used mods that triggered the cell reset bug. Might be worth seeing if any mods you're using have this issue (Check comments for them on nexus)

If you're on console or not using mods or any mods that cause the bug, it may be something else thats triggered it. It's not a good bug as it can also reset any power armor you have to base unmodded T-45 regardless of what level or modded it was when you got it.

Cool, it's the first time I've noticed it happen after about 10 solid days and three play throughs with two different characters lol. Confused the hell out of me.

Seems to have been happening since 1.4 update. Not sure if its a "bug" or a "feature".

That doesn't sound good, I'm on xbox. Not really bothered about the PA tbf though, not really using it this play through and just using it to decorate settlements.

Happening to me too, on Xbox no mods etc etc. I was surprised at first and worried that stuff I put in there would disappear but no dramas yet. I look at it like its a present from my loyal settlement subjects svcking up ??

Actually thats a point - the settlement it happened at has no residents, only a provisioner.

Had it happen as well (on ps4).

Also had the bloodbugs respawn at the Taffington Boathouse after I had already claimed it and build some stuff there.
