"Selling Common Items" Post 1.4....

Post » Mon Mar 07, 2016 3:07 am

So, now that we got some junk as part of the loot that can be brought back from the Wastes, I'm kind of hesitant to use the "Sell Common Items" button everytime a dweller returns from their journey - which I have no problem using it before this awesome update - out of fear that it will also sell off some of the recovered junk.

Can someone confirm if this button will also sell off the common junk or not? I kind of don't want to risk my stuff as I will begin hoarding them junk once more, in true Fallout style!

I would have to imagine it merely sells clothing and weapons tagged as "common." It seems all junk is rare judging by the release notes.

No, there are common junk items as well.

The magnifying glass, duct tape, baseball glove, desk fan, and yarn are a few of the junk items classified as common.

Now we have to be more carefull when we get new stuff from our dwellers. I guess will be easy. Just controll every single object. Sell what we don't need and keep in safe the junk we need for our crafts

So are they being sold off when you sell common items?

I haven't tested that yet. I have a lunchbox objective to collect a large amount of items and doing the "common sell" shortcut with returning dwellers from the wasteland bypasses the collecting part of the objective.

Someone else is going to have to be the guinea pig for this one.

Sure, but you can see what common items will be sold off before you hit ok.
